About the Role
ApolloTech MSI is seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer for a full-time position based in Wharton, NJ, with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
The Robotics Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, simulating, verifying, and integrating robotics components into different autonomous platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional groups on modules that align with system requirements and close coordination with hardware and software development teams to seamlessly integrate these modules into various unmanned platforms. The engineer will provide support and subject matter expertise in disciplines related to the design, development, integration, and testing of unmanned systems.
Target Salary Range $65,000 - $140,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Requirements
Bachelor's, degree with 5+ years of experience, Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Ph.D. degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or a related technical field
Experience integrating LiDAR, GPS and MPU5 radios
Experience with CREO or similar 3D modeling software
Experience integrating L-Tracks onto platform or adopting robotic modules to fit on L-Tracks or other mounting hardware
Familiarity with Electrical/Electronics components
Be able to make custom cables for different robotic platforms and modules
Familiar with Pixhawk, ArduPilot
Prior experience using ATAK plugins is a plus
Experience in system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Python
Experience or familiarity with electronic protection techniques
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
US Citizenship is required for this role due to security clearance requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
